This lovely center medallion, inspired by a Baltimore Album Quilt in the DAR Museum collection, is rendered in wool with ribbon embellishments. The bird borders are reminiscent of a German Fraktur, as are the hex signs on the corner blocks of the quilt. Our design uses a variety of fibers, including wool, cotton, silk, ribbon, and different weights of embroidery threads to create dimension and interest. The printed pattern comes with full instructions, placement patterns, and templates for wool or cotton appliqué. 
Design area of center medallion is 15” square; the quilt finishes at approximately 49” square.
