This trio of botanical panels is based on the book of hours, Les Grandes Heures d'Anne de Bretagne, which was commissioned by Anne of Brittany, Queen of France, and illuminated by Jean Bourdichon between 1503 and 1508. The Renaissance-styled illustrations throughout the book are typically of one plant. We combined several of the designs to create each of our wool appliqué panels, including several flowers and a few critters, as well. The 3 patterns— Irises, Rose of Sharon, and Poppies—are available singly and can be done as a small wall hanging, or you can stitch all three and hang them as a triptych or put them together into one piece. Patterns include detailed instructions for our dimensional techniques and templates for wool appliqué.

Use the drop down menu to select the pattern(s) you want. If you buy all three as a set, you will save!
