Based on an antique French fabric panel, this block is rendered in wool appliqué with ribbon embellishments. Throw a vintage doily into the mix if you wish for a truly dimensional experience!
Block design measures approximately 13 inches square.
Ribbon kit includes all special materials to replicate block, except a doily: wired ribbon, bias silk ribbon, velvet ribbon, Painters Threads 7mm silk ribbon, The Thread Gatherer's Aurora Thread for bird's tail, and beads.
Wool and Ribbon kit comes with ribbon above and all wool needed to create block, including a piece to sub for a doily if desired. Background is NOT included.
Wool/Ribbon/Thread kit includes Weeks DyeWorks threads: 5 skeins of 6-stranded floss, 2 skeins of #8 pearl cotton thread, and 1 skein of #5 pearl cotton thread.
