Welcome to our Woodland Reverie! In this wetland scene, based on a Spanish tile, we visit a quartet of frogs amongst the water lilies, while they search for their dinner hidden in the pickerel weed. Design area is 15 inches square in 18-inch block.
 
Pattern (free with kit purchase) includes complete instructions with illustrations for flower-making, and the kit includes all special materials needed to complete the block: brown velvet and green bias silk ribbon for the cattails, 2mm pink silk ribbon for frogs' tongues, black seed beads for the frogs' eyes, hand-dyed Thread Gatherers 4mm ribbon for the pickerel week, yellow velvet for the lily center, and ombré wired ribbon for the water lily. You have the choice of a kit with a YELLOW lily or PINK lily. (Ribbon colors may vary slightly due to availability.)
 
OPTION—You might choose to add an optional hand-dyed thread kit for embroidery, which includes one skein each of Painters Threads #12 pearl cotton for frogs and 6-stranded floss for lily pads (or frogs), Thread Gatherer Silken Threads for cattail stems, Weeks DyeWorks #5 pearl for lily stamens, and 3 skeins of Weeks floss for pickerel weed and/or lily pad veins.
